April 27th, 2013 - Friday and Saturday evening found the team entering two more USMTS events. The action on Friday was held at Kennedale Speedway 1Park (Kennedale, Texas), and Brown would find the going to not be so friendly early in the evening as he drew a large number at the pill draw for the forty-six car field, and as a result had to start on the tail of the heat. After only being able to advance a single spot in his heat, he was relegated to a b-main, where he missed reaching a transfer spot by a single position. As a result he utilized a series' provisional to start the 40 lap feature in the twenty-sixth position. Despite starting at the tail of the field Brown advanced eighteen spots to an eighth place finish.

The busy weekend concluded on Saturday night at Southern Oklahoma Speedway (Ardmore, Oklahoma) with a final $4,000-to-win race. Forty-two entries filled the pits and Brown's night started on a much better note than the night prior as a second place finish in his heat race locked him into the ninth starting spot for the finale. In the 40 lap, main event Chris passed five cars to register a fourth place finish behind race winner, Johnny Scott, Zack VanderBeek, and Stormy Scott.

1April 25th, 2013 - Texas Thunder Speedway (Killeen, Texas) on Thursday night was the site of Chris Brown's first win of the 2013 campaign!

Forty-one entries were on hand for the $4,000-to-win, USMTS Open Wheel Modified Series event, and Brown started his night with an eighth to second run in his heat race to earn a spot in the redraw for the 40 lap feature. In the redraw he was the recipient of the sixth starting spot. As the finale went green Brown began working his way toward the leaders, and on lap 11 he overtook Stormy Scott for the lead. Once out front he never looked back on his way to the win, which came over Scott, Zack VanderBeek, Kelly Shryock, and Johnny Scott. Full results from the event are available at www.USMTS.com.

April 20th, 2013 - A threatening forecast for the weekend's USMTS Open Wheel Modified tripleheader in Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma caused Chris to change his weekend's plans as he made the decision to stick close to home and run the P&W Sales Southern United Professional Racers (SUPR) Super Late Model event in his #21 Lone Star Hydro & Maintenance/Bloomquist/Roush Yates Racing Engine entry at Battleground Speedway (Highland, Texas) on Saturday night.

The $2,500-to-win event attracted twenty-one entries to the clay oval, and Chris started the night by winning the second heat race from the pole position to lock into the fourth starting spot for the finale. In the main event Brown raced his way to a sixth place finish behind race winner, Kevin Sitton, Robbie Stuart, Rob Litton, Shane Hebert, and Robbie Starnes.

1April 6th, 2013 - Another weekend and another doubleheader for Chris Brown with the United States Modified Tour Series (USMTS) Open Wheel Modifieds as he invaded the state of Oklahoma.

On Friday night the team was in action at the historic Thunderbird Speedway (Muskogee, Oklahoma) in a $4,000-to-win program. With twenty-six competitors registered for battle at the 1/2 mile oval Chris advanced from the third starting spot in his heat race to a second place finish, which sent him to the redraw for the main event. In the redraw he was the recipient of the third starting spot, and had high hopes for the feature. Unfortunately he would battle the handle on his entry as he slipped to a ninth place finish.

Saturday evening found Chris Brown competing at West Siloam Speedway (Colcord, Oklahoma) in another $4,000-to-win event, and after slipping from second to fourth in his heat Chris started twelfth on the grid for the 40 lap feature. During the course of the main event he passed six cars to race his way to a sixth place finish behind race winner, Stormy Scott, Johnny Scott, Zack VanderBeek, Jeremy Payne, and Jason Hughes.
