1July 28th, 2016 - Continuing on with the Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Series, Chris Brown visited Boyd's Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) on Tuesday night. Charging to a heat race victory in a field of thirty-competitors, Chris earned the 12th-starting spot for the $3,500-to-win feature. Moving up three positions, Brown recorded a 9th place outing.

On Thursday night Chris headed to Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tennessee) for another Southern Nationals Series $3,500-to-win A-Main. Competing in a field of 22 in the feature, Brown landed a 15th place finish in the 35-lap affair.

On Tuesday night the Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Series picked back up at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee). Starting the night off with a heat race win, Chris Brown was slated start 7th for the $3,500-to-win A-Main. Moving up four spots in the 35-lap feature, Brown notched a 3rd place finish behind David Crabtree and Devin Gilpin with Donald McIntosh and Vic Hill completing the top five finishers. 1Returning to action on Thursday night, Chris was one of twenty-five entries signed in at Tri-County Racetrack (Brasstown, North Carolina). Battling for a $3,500 payday in the feature, Brown landed a 9th place finish in the 35-lapper.

Friday night brought the Southern Nationals Series followers to Swainsboro Raceway (Swainsboro, Georgia) for the $5,300-to-win A-Main. After notching a 3rd place finish in his heat race, Brown fell back to a 20th place finish in the 53-lap feature.

Competing in the fifth round of the Southern Nationals Series, Brown stopped at Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Georgia) on Saturday night. Failing to make it out for his heat race, Chris was granted a provisional to make it into the main event. Coming from the tail of the field, Brown worked his way up to a 13th place outing.

Kicking off the 12th Annual Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Series presented by Old Man’s Garage, Chris Brown headed to Wythe Raceway (Rural Retreat, Virginia) on Saturday night for the opening night $10,000-to-win A-Main. In a field of twenty-six cars, Brown landed a podium finish in the feature. After a long rain-delay, Chris posted a 3rd place finish when the checkers flew at the end of the 53-lapper finishing behind Dale McDowell and Donald Bradsher with Gregg Satterlee and Shanon Buckingham rounding out the top five.
