1 May 28th, 2016 - Chris Brown visited Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) on Thursday night for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Cowboy Classic. With a stout field of fifty-seven Super Late Models signed in, Chris earned a front row starting spot for his heat after timing in 3rd in his group. Hanging on to a runner-up finish behind Scott Bloomquist, Brown was slated to start 11th for the $6,000-to-win show. Working his way into the top five, Chris Brown advanced six positions in the 45-lap A-Main notching a 5th place finish behind Jonathan Davenport, Jimmy Owens, Brandon Sheppard, and Shannon Babb.

Returning on Friday night for the Tribute to Don and Billie Gibson A-Main, Brown fell one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 4th place outing. Cruising to a 15-lap B-Main victory, Chris earned a 21st place starting spot for the feature. With 40-laps to gain some ground, Brown recorded a 20th place finish.

1Wrapping up the three-day LOLMDS event, Chris Brown was slated to start 11th for the 24th Annual Show-Me 100 due his solid results the previous two nights in the feature. With $30,000 on the line, Chris gained one spot in the 100-lap affair notching a 10th place finish. (Todd Boyd Photo)

1May 21st, 2016 - Competing with the P&W Sales Southern United Professional Racing (SUPR) series, Chris Brown headed to Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana) on Friday night. Drawing a field of twenty-seven cars, Brown logged a 5th place finish in his heat transferring him into the B-Main. Capturing a B-Main win, Chris secured his spot into the main event. Breaking into the top ten, Chris Brown notched a 6th place finish.

1May 14th, 2016 - Back behind the wheel of his Super Late Model, Chris Brown made the trek to Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) on Friday night for the special event sanctioned by both the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) and the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS). In a field of thirty-six cars, Brown scored a 3rd place finish in his heat earning him a 12th place starting spot for the feature. With $2,000 on the line, Chris fell back to a 14th place finish.

1The following night brought the CCSDS followers to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for another $2,500-to-win show. With forty-three Super Late Models signed in, Brown captured a heat race win earning him a 3rd place starting spot for the main event. Hanging on to his starting spot for all 40-laps, Chris scored a 3rd place finish behind Hunter Rasdon and Ronny Lee Hollingsworth with Bub McCool and Wendell Wallace rounding out the top five.
